| 3-D Self-organized Multifunctional Composites | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| This research thrust is focused on ceramic structures and materials formed through self-assembly, including colloidal crystals through colloidal self-assembly, colloidal crystals through DNA assisted assembly, and periodic structures through multibeam holography. A prime advantage of self-organized structures is the ability to rapidly cover large areas and create a diversity of 3D structures. | |
