Spanning Length Scales and Systems Integration
This research thrust is focused on structures and materials that serve as chemical and biological sensors, photonic devices including waveguides, optical cavities, and other unique optical structures, and the thermal properties of periodic structures.  A key component of this thrust is to create systems that utilize the unique structures and materials formed as part of this MURI program.
